1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups diced apples
1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish to form a crust.
In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
Top with diced apples and drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade caramel sauce.
Chill the bars in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving for firmer texture.
