A deliciously moist and sweet banana bread with a hint of cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir in the flour until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the batter.
  8. Top with the remaining batter.
  9. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing.
