  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the potatoes into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the shredded cheese, egg, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and green onions to the bowl, and mix until well combined.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and flatten slightly.
  5. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
