  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey and turkey bacon until browned.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, turkey mixture, and shredded mozzarella.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some crushed red pepper to the turkey mixture.
  • You can use regular bacon if you prefer a richer taste.
