This Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice recipe is a delicious copycat of the dish served at Nobu, perfect for making at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 pound sushi-grade tuna
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Cut the tuna into small cubes and mix it with soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha.
  3. Shape the cooled rice into rectangular blocks.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the rice blocks until golden brown.
  5. Top each block with the spicy tuna mix and an avocado slice.
  6. Garnish with green onions and nori strips before serving.
