  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for an additional hour.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
